Til Next Time

     What do you say when a chapter of your life comes to a close and a new era of living and thinking begins? Can it be so that I am still the me I left behind so many months ago, what grand changes have occurred in my life, what struggles have I witnessed, what boundaries have been surpassed? So many achievements bagged and sacked, and so many stories to be told that finding a starting point is rather bemusing.  What odds and ends have been tied and untied, how many peoples and cultures from around the world have slipped beneath my skin? My heart beats with an ancient, musical, melody reminding me of my past lives, how many have been lived, how old am I really?  I once believed in miracles and now I live in one, a man born again and changed forever. I went south on a journey to find myself, true happiness beckoned my existence, my smile will forever endure.

     The stalks of nature within my life have been flourishing for millennia, and generations upon generations have embedded my soul with a wisdom and harmony I only needed to find, I only needed to wake-up to, to embrace the One inside of myself, the One which is inside of us all.  So much of our everyday experiences are filled with stresses from the outside world.  Our social and psychological problems run so deep that when the day is done we´re drained and exasperated.  Within ourselves though, a greater source of vitality thrives, and from all the animate and inanimate bodies which surround us, a pulsing movement towards protecting nature is surging forward with a great wake. In everything that exists, exists an energy in which we can easily tap into if we can only but remember how to become in-tuned with the great Pacha Mama. The unity that connects us, the world, and the universe is coming back with greater clarity, we must only open our eyes and ears to accept it, and to greet it with love and charity. Love this life, live it, and forever grow.

Celestial trance
A mind translation
Transformed from my imagination
A destination proclamation
To reveal an ancient oath to a yearning generation

It is Mother whom we must protect
fight for and project
we must first begin to erect
a standing image of her beauty, to cherish and respect
to openly accept her love, and to make it a universal concept

We must treat the tree of life with gratitude
no more fighting over bloody land and crude
enough of the ineptitude
Our time is slim I assure you
and if we do not adjust quick and change our attitude
all will be lost, leaving behind only despair and solitude

So my brethren, my lovers, and my foes
reunite with me in one last go
lets make this show beam bright with a fiery glow
using music, dance, and the arts as it flows
to a life worth saving to watch and to grow

and evolve with me now and let the world remember
who it was that saved Mother from the beast

"Vita est mutatio eternus volatilis alo manuum ab tempus"
     -Yohan

                            "If"

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

     -Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)

     If you don´t stop to take a look at your life and enjoy it, it will be gone.  Relax for a moment and feel what it is to be and to love.  Happiness awaits you to awaken from your slumbering routine of reality. Why do you kill yourself so slowly, so painfully, when there is so much to see, so much living to do? Quit your fucking job, and leave your hateful lover, the great One is waiting for you to find yourself. Yes, you must get off your ass and leave your little, blanket town; the fish-bowl may be great for security but it´s really poor for growth. And don´t give me any of those damn excuses about money or time, put on your pants and go for a walk.
